Gremio Victorious Over Moxie

Gremio had to play against Moxie FC for the second time this season, and the tricolor came out with a win once again. Gremio won by the score of 2-1 despite being shorthanded. Sory, Paul, Jon Elison, Pete and Rick missed the game. Karin was called up for the game and the move paid off.
Karin scored the first goal assisted by Paul.
"She's such a good player. It's such a pleasure to play with her," said Kevin.
Mauricio scored the second goal, assisted by Paul once more, and that was enough offense for the tricolor. Gremio just had to sit back, playing a very strong defensive game.
Gremio line up: Berg (GK), Garrett, Mike, Paul, Mauricio, Karin and Kevin.

A Sloppy Win

A sloppy win is still a win. Gremio had difficulties against an impressive Rockhill squad but escaped with a 6-2 win. "I give credit to them for playing well," said Karin.
Kevin and Jay scored 2 goals each and Steve and Mauricio completed the score with a tally each.

Lightning Moves Game Indoors

Thunderstorms moved Gremio's game vs. Megawatts from field 2 to indoors. Gremio started out slow and allowed Megawatts to build up a 2-0 lead. Nevertheless, the tricolor stormed back to tie the game and keep the unbeaten streak alive. Steve scored the 2 goals and Mauricio had what it would have been the game-winner on a controversial shot. The ball exploded off the crossbar, bounced inside the goal line and out. The call was no goal. "It's physics, you can tell by the rubber pellets," said Mauricio. If you want to find out more about this, talk to Jay next time he goes to Hooters.

Gremio Slams ACN United

Gremio improved to 5-0-0 after blowing out ACN United by the score of 6-0.
Steve and Kevin tallied 2 goals each and Mauricio and Scott also scored. Brian and Mauricio shared the shutout in goal for the second time this season.

Gremio Edges El Zanjon Again

A nice come-from-behind win is the latest chapter of the battle between the two rivals teams.
Gremio, down 2-1, scored 3 unanswered goals to edge El Zanjon by the final score of 4-2. It was the third consecutive win for the tricolor over El Zanjon.
Mauricio 2 times, Steve and Kevin were the goal scorers.

Gremio Blanked

Gremio was blanked by PCC, losing 3-0. It was the tricolor's first loss of the season.
Gremio last shutout loss dated back to the spring of 09, over a year ago.

Lesson Learned

J.G.Wentworth was the last team to beat Gremio last season. But not this time.
Gremio came out flying and took advantage of JGW short squad walking away with a 5-3 win.
Goals were scored by Mauricio, Jay, Brian, Kevin and Mellisa, her first for Gremio on a nice feed by Brian.
Scott decided to help them out in the second half and was rewarded by getting hit in the face in 3 shots, "That's what happens when you want to play against your team," said Mauricio.
If you play for Gremio, don't play against Gremio. Lesson learned.

Gremio Rolls Over Red Laces

Playing back to back games did not slow down Gremio, beating Red Laces by the score of 6-1.
Pete and Paul had two goals each, and Mbiso and Garrett also scored.
Gremio improved to 5-0-0, scoring a total of 27 goals and allowing only 5.
