Just Like Good Old Days
Gremio will take on Pineapple United tonight at 10:28pm. Mauricio will be wearing a classic 83 vintage jersey, a birthday gift from little brother Marcelo. Just like Renato, just like in the good old days.
A special thanks to Marcelo, Ju and our official Gremio supplier Mom.

Gremio Beats Villanova
The first win the season had to be in comeback style. Gremio defeated Villanova last night by the score of 2-1. The Wildcats got an early lead but the tricolor recovered playing one of its best defensive games in recent years. Led by GK Chris Berg, Gremio held Villanova to just one goal and only a few scoring chances.
Paul tied the game finishing off a loose ball after a shot by Jon B. deflected on a Nova defender. Mauricio scored the game winning goal converting on a Penalty Kick late in the game and putting final numbers in the win, 2-1. Gremio is now 1-2-0 and moved up in the standings as Kevin pointed out prior the game, "I was really irritated by the 0-2 start. We were like all the way at the bottom, it ain't right, it ain't right" he said.

Gremio Coed Continues To Roll
Gremio Coed is off to a hot start. After a 14-goal massacre in week 1, the tricolor came out flying once again, beating Passively Aggressively by the score of 8-1.
Mauricio and Scott had two goals each, as did Tom, playing his first game for Gremio. Josh and Kevin also scored for Gremio (2-0-0). The team has scored a total of 22 goals in the first two games and allowed just one.
Gremio Can’t Hold Off FC Yunkers
Gremio could not hold off FC Yunkers, losing the game by the score of 5-2.
The tricolor had a 2-1 lead after Mauricio and Ged scored. But Gremio was running out of power, and FC Yunkers scored 4 unanswered goals. Gremio will try to win the first game of the season next Monday versus Villanova.

Gremio Coed Scores 2 Touchdowns
Gremio Coed started the winter 2 season in Superbowl style beating Kaka for Cocoa Puffs by the score of 14-0.Yes, 14 goals in the biggest blowout victory for Gremio in recent years.
Led by Karin's hat trick, Gremio Coed kept on scoring. Scott back in the line up, also had a hat-trick in his return. Kevin, Josh, and Brian had two goals each and Brandi and Mauricio also netted for the tricolor (I might have messed up the scoring sheet, but c'mon 14 is too much to track).
Mauricio and Brain had a split shutout but when the opponent best chance was Mauricio's bad pass back that Brian saved for a corner kick, that's an easy shutout for sure.

Gremio Drops Opener
Another rusty start for Gremio, as the tricolor lost the first game of the winter season 2 to Goal Miners by the score of 4-2. Gremio had two new players, Ged and Branden, replacing Rick and Dave.
Newcomer Ged found the back of the net on his first game for Gremio and Paul also added a goal but the tricolor could not finish many chances and came up short.
