Bad Call Costs Gremio

A bad "no-goal" call cost Gremio its first loss of the season against Moxie FC 3-2. Mauricio and Jon Elison scored for the tricolor but what it would have been the game-winning goal was not called by the ref. With the game tied 2-2, Mauricio shot off the crossbar and in but the ref was too busy checking his messages and could not call it a goal. Moxie scored moments later.
